Spring Lax Player Evaluations

Representatives from ALL Raptors Boys Lacrosse teams will be evaluating players and their feedback will be used for Spring team placement. If your player does not register/attend evaluations, they will not be considered for our Elite or highest competitive level team at their age group and we will assign them to the appropriate level team based on roster availability, players' experience and past coaches' input.

7:30 - 9:00am: 5th/6th Grade

9:00 - 10:30am: 7th/8th Grade

10:30am - 12:00pm: 3rd/4th Grade

What equipment do players need?

Full equipment is needed for player evaluations - helmet, shoulder/chest pad, elbow pads, gloves, mouth guard, athletic cup, cleats.

What uniform/jersey should players wear?

All players will be provided an identification number at evaluations, so a specific jersey is not required. Players can wear any kind of jersey or pinnie over their lacrosse pads for evaluations.

When will rosters/team placements be announced?

Coaches for all team levels will notify each player within a week of the last tryout their team placement. 

What are the levels of play in the AYL?

All levels are competitive lacrosse and ranked on a scale developed by the AYL based on team's historical record and input from coaches and Raptors leadership.
